Shovels + Snow = Barricade

Last night, while picking up ginger ale, garlic bread and a bin full of mini-powdered donuts—BECAUSE I NEEDED THEM—I noticed this brave use of resources. A display full of shovels for sale. Behind it? Oh that’s just where snow fell off the roof and instead of shoveling they just barricaded off the area. Genius.

In fairness, who wants to buy a used shovel? Those first few uses are crucial to forming it to your shovelling stroke, and if someone else gets at it first, it’ll just never quite feel right.
