One of the things that I do while I am at work, as many of you know, is catch up on all the cable television that I miss. Frankly, it seems I have to pickup another series every couple of weeks or go back to old ones. I generally just like listening to something while I work. I get tired of hearing music. One of my favourite series is House.

Greg House is an amazing character. I think it could be fair that the accusation that watching the show is just always more of the same and the characters never really seem to change. Which, also, is how you keep a sitcom going. However, I think there happens to be some fairly phenomenal writing on the show that keeps it humorous and yet serious—and moving forward. More serious than Scrubs, but less than ER or something. I actually think Scrubs and House are the only two medical shows that I have ever really watched. Dr. Cox, from Scrubs, is very similar to House. They are cranky, damaged and brilliant characters that always (almost) get their answer but are a wrecking ball through everything and everyone as they search for them. I enjoy these characters. Immensely. Leah, on the other hand, not as much.

One of the cutest and funniest things about Leah is how much she gets into a program or movie. To sit beside her through a show will mean you will have to deal with her arms flailing and yelling at the television. Now, not that I regularly do, but if you saw me watching sports, I do the same thing. But I am a little more rational than my counterpart. When she thinks someones an idiot or cruel or whatever she makes sure that the TV screen knows it.

I don’t think Leah would like House. He’s rude to everyone and often cruel. But, at the end of the day, he’s doing the right thing for his patient, but rarely the right thing for his relationships and Leah wouldn’t like him one bit. He’s a jerk. I suppose I have ended up talking more about House then I had intended. Really, I just wanted to point out what a cuuuute wife I have.
