Long story short, a friend on Twitter asked if anyone was a regular Craigslist reader and I told him I was. He put me in touch with a friend who is a reporter for the Edmonton Journal and he asked me about Craigslist. Well, as it turns out, I made it into the article.

I think there aren’t enough rituals anymore. Enough traditions. One of my favourite aspects of the Lutheran church are the traditions. I don’t have any one set tradition regarding starting something new. But I always like to make some effort to change something in my life. Since I have started a new career as a Content Specialist with NETELLER (and it’s going great, by the way), I did a few things to have a fresh start.

On Tuesday, I was laid off from my job, so I am in the process of looking for a new job, doing a few freelance jobs and potentially temping. You can read about it on soveran.ca.
In my continuing attempts to be environmentally friendly last night I shaved my head (again). The benefits of shaving your head: Cooler (I mean I look cool), not as warm (don’t need the A/C on, not that I have A/C to turn on), and … I’m awesome. Also, instead of shaving my head inside, Leah buzzed it outside so that my hair wouldn’t just go into the garbage but into mother nature and nurture the forests and also in your soup. Therefore, do not eat soup outside for the next few weeks or my hair might blow into it.

During our vacation we had the privilege of seeing Brenda’s home town and where she grew up: Good Grief, Idaho.
