In an attempt to make commenting easier and more fun, fun, fun, I’ve installed Disqus. You can still comment anonymously or you can just use your Twitter, Facebook or Google profiles to post from. My hope is that this makes it easier to comment but also raises the level of accountability with commenting and will help with spam. As always, your feedback is appreciated.
This post actually means that you’re packing and move-planning and NOT blogging right now . . . right?
Haha, no.
I intend to just bring sexy back in lieu of anonymous comments, but I guess my first question as a nascent blogger is how bad your spam ‘sitch is. So far I’m probably so “underground” (as in no one reads or knows about my blog) as to get a lot of action – how bad is it for you?
I have (several times over) redundant spam protection so I rarely see any spam get through, but once and a while the spammers find a new hole and I get bombarded. After 5 years of blogging I have written about enough things that I have covered a lot of keywords that spammers might want for SEO links. That being said, I don’t want to give you the impression that I have impressive traffic or anything of the sort.
