Well folks, I had an excellent Christmas. I got to go home to Regina which was nice. I always enjoy some time out in the prairies. It was our (Leah and I) first Christmas and it went pretty smooth. There was some juggling of time between the families, but a nice time overall. I’ve said this before but I will say it again, being married holds an interesting mirror up. There are traditions/ticks/just little things that you would never realize about yourself or your family until someone tells you that you are a complete weirdo!Â
Thankfully, Leah doesn’t think we are too weird. But, when you come into another family, there are bound to be some differences. I got some really nice presents, one of which was the new Justin Timberlake CD. I’m totally bringing SexyBack!
I suppose I don’t feel like I have too much to say at the moment. I spent a large chunk of my morning writing an exhaustingly (hopefully) creative cover letter and I feel a bit spent now. I will say one thing, for the first time, when I was coming back into Calgary, it felt like I was coming home and that’s always a good feeling.
My gift arrived!!! Ha! That’s by far the most surprising gift I’ve ever received! Untoppable. I can’t stop giggling.
Thank you!
What is it, B? We’re dying of curiousity here…
I’m surprised by how many people like to play with my present. And then I’m surprised by how many people don’t.
Rob has his. Spill the beans at will.
You’re welcome B!
Uh. Well. Hm. I don’t think I’m the one to explain it. Nope. Not me.
Ok, I won’t define it except to point in the right direction:
