As the World Turns

Here’s a quick update for you readers that need a fix. I expect to have a full-length blog later this afternoon.

  1. Dad visited us last week and brought the following: a red communist bicycle, a capitalist aquarium and an despotist video camera.
  2. On the weekend, I bought a pretty red pannier for my bike. Dad also bought me a bell. Now when I go down the street I say ding-ding.
  3. I am going to start purchasing cichlids and have a cichlid tank. Anyone who knows about fish will think I am totally cool for this.
  4. Dad and I bought a Sony Hi8 video camera a couple years ago. No one has used it. I am going to use it for video blogging.

I’m going to be really busy for the next two weeks or more. Posting may be sporadic. My apologies. If I could put a license plate frame around me it would say I would rather be blogging.

San Fran

I left my heart in Cesky Krumlov.

I Need a Haircut

Well, I don’t suppose I can get much more straightforward then that. I have been doing the same/similar things for a long time. I have exceedingly thick hair and lots of it. It’s got a slight natural curl. I’ve been sorta going for the messy/JD (Zach Braff) look. It’s either that my hair is just too think to actually grow it long enough to do what I want and/or I am not using the right hair product. Currently, I am using messy matte clay. Or something like that. I need some advice people! I have taken some unflattering self portraits (below) to help you get your mind around the mass amounts of hair I have.

Day Off

I haven’t completely decided. But I think I am calling in sick from blogging today. It’s a “mental health day”.

House

One of the things that I do while I am at work, as many of you know, is catch up on all the cable television that I miss. Frankly, it seems I have to pickup another series every couple of weeks or go back to old ones. I generally just like listening to something while I work. I get tired of hearing music. One of my favourite series is House.

Hope You Guessed My Name

I don’t know what got me thinking about the Stones this morning, but something did. I was thinking that I hadn’t put a song on here for a while. And dad is coming to visit us tomorrow. I thought what’s a song that dad likes. And also since I sort of burned him last week I ought to get back into the good books. Or maybe it was all that talk about the lost. Here it is, Sympathy for the Devil:
