That title is a poor rip off of “Just call me Angel of the morning”—the title fits the tune and it was in my head. Do you ever find that as soon as you start thinking about something it constantly comes up in conversation? Or when a friend/family gets a new car and you never paid attention to that type before but suddenly you become aware of them and you always notice them? Well, it happens to me. Lately, I have been thinking about blogging. I mentioned this before, but in June I am going to be speaking at the monthly member event about blogging. Now that I am thinking about it, blogging seems to be the topic on everyones mind. Today I want to talk about blogging and work.
I Lost Millions by an Inch
On Saturday night, I attended/volunteered at Calgary’s MultiArts Variety Show. It was an interesting event with music, poetry/spoken word and video. Well, I arrived early because I was volunteering (even though it turned out I didn’t have anything to do). I knew a couple people, but not many, and not enough to have any sort of interesting conversation. The event took place at The Soda which is a small venue and so one such fellow as myself, standing alone, stood out. I decided to buy a beer to ease the burning loneliness in my soul. This is when I lost my chance at riches, fame and… pain.

Smells
I have been doing a lot of research lately into the deep scent of my armpits. The musk aroma often sweeps throughout our apartment and sweetens our life. Leah, particularly, loves it. My research has led me to conclude that my left armpit smells much stronger than the right.
Have a good weekend.
So Leah Says To Me
She says, Hey, Rhett, I think the hair on the side of your head is almost all WHITE! I am aware of this fact. I acknowledge that as the days go by my hair loses more and more pigment. And I am not happy about this. It doesn’t bother me, but I like my beautiful brown hair. But, Rhett, it’s really getting gray. I mean like, in the past year, it has changed drastically. OKAY! Leah, I get it. Okay? I have grey hair. Do you hate me? Am I ugly to you?
I’m Not Alright
I came across Pilot Speed (previously known as “Pilate”) a couple years ago. I bought their CD on a whim, I think, after hearing “Into Your Hideout” and I was completely blown away. Their first CD Caught by the Window was incredibly daring and poetic CD. I would compare it to Coldplay’s Parachutes. It’s that sort of CD that runs a gamut, tells a story and begins and ends perfectly. It is a well-written novel of a disc. Their second CD Sell Control for Life’s Speed (or as re-released Into the West) was equally beautiful (though I have not go into it the same). They have been compared to Coldplay, Radiohead and U2. Today, I would like to share with you my favourite song from Caught by the Window “Alright”; do listen.
