Tastey Regrets

I am not one of those people who lives life with no regrets. I am honest. I have regrets. There are things I wish I would have done or not done. It’s not something that controls me or gets me down, but they are there. There is one regret that I would like to share with you today. As some of you may or may not know, I am/have been an extremely picky eater. In the past years I have gotten better, especially since I married that wife of mine :laugh_tb:.

It turns out that I am not blocked by China’s firewall. China, as always, welcome to rockstarpoet.ca.

Virtuous Among Us

I haven’t posted any music in a couple of days so I thought I would. However, I came up against a wall—what song? Nothing has inspired me lately, thankfully I have an iPod Shuffle that always saves the day. If you watched the video I made last night and you were very attentive you might have caught a slight snide comment about spoken word. It’s not that I hate spoken word and honestly when its done well, it’s amazing. One Year of Blogging!

Basically Published

Now this is probably one of the more exciting things that has happened to me in a while. It’s not quite as exciting as if I was about to be published, however, it is basically the coolest thing since Brenda dancing with snowshoes on. Frankly, it’s only a matter of time before my name is on marquee’s everywhere.

Does Saskatchewan Love Me Like Nova Scotia Would?

I have to say that I am enjoying Calgary. Next month, I will have already lived here for an entire year. Finally, I am getting involved in the writing community and things are going really well. I have to say, barring minor hiccups, I am pretty happy, even on grumpy days. But, I still miss home. I miss my friends and family. I have met some good people in Calgary but on the other hand, I have no motivation to meet more new people—why should I when I have great friends back home, right? Well Nova Scotia made a pretty funny video to bring back their people from Calgary. Maybe I also suffer from Delusional Calgaria.
